Let’s “Talk About It”

Introducing "Talk About It" – A Weekly Video Series!

After leaving the classroom, I jumped right into actively learning and engaging with what’s happening in the School District of Menomonee Falls—and I want to share what I’ve learned with you.

Every Tuesday, I’ll be dropping a new "Talk About It" video to help inform and educate our community on important school district topics.

Stay tuned, stay informed, and let’s talk about it!

  • Transparency

Transparency means open, accessible decision-making, but recent changes in the Menomonee Falls School Board make that harder. Key decisions—like book removals and curriculum changes—are now made by just three board members in committees, without full board discussion or public input. Staying informed requires watching 109 meetings, some hours long.

Watch this week’s Talk About It Tuesday for the full breakdown!

    Removing Books from Schools

Talk About It Tuesday: Removing Books from Schools

34 books were removed from Menomonee Falls schools without following policy or involving Library Media Specialists. Some were part of the English curriculum or for parent-supported reading.

Where are these books now? Will they return? We deserve answers—because this is about trust, transparency, and our schools' future.

    Watch now to learn more!
